Parallels with
David Waggonner & Michel Varisco
AIGA, the professional association for design, Design Within Reach, the International Interior Design Association and the The American Institute of Architects have come together once again to host the third edition of our presentation series - Parallels - which aims to draw connections between designers and creatives from a variety of disciplines.
Our presentation series continues on with architect David Waggonner and installation artist Michel Varisco.
Michel Varisco is a native photographer and installation artist. Her work explores loss and regeneration in rural and urban settings. Varisco’s work is exhibited and published internationally and is included in public, private, and corporate collections. She is an artist mentor at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and has worked and studied in France and Italy.
David Waggonner is the president of Waggonner & Ball Architects and is also the initiator of the Dutch Dialogues, an intercutural, interdisciplinary, and intergenerational exchange between Dutch engineering and design professionals, including their American counterparts focused on water-based urban design.
